By creating an EventRecast account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
EventRecast provides real-time captioning, transcription, translation, and analytics for live events. Service availability targets are described in the Service Level Agreement applicable to your plan.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
You agree not to use the platform to caption content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited.
You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overwhelm the platform.
You retain ownership of the audio you broadcast and the transcripts the platform produces from it.
You grant EventRecast the limited license needed to process your audio, generate captions, and store transcripts on your behalf.
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing in effect at the time of purchase. We may change pricing with notice.
Refunds are handled per the policy described at the time of purchase.
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend accounts for violations of these terms.
On termination, you may export your transcripts and data within 30 days, after which they may be deleted.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventRecast's liability is limited as described in the agreement specific to your plan.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your customer agreement (or, in absence of one, the jurisdiction of EventRecast's headquarters).
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email and a banner on this page.
